Spoke to our main fishing expert on tour, Matt Guidera from Streaky Bay Blue Water Charters earlier in the week & with some magnificant boating & fishing conditions, there is plenty of fish around !

Goin Off Safaris uses Matt’s local fishing knowledge & experience to make sure that your day is fulfilled & there has been plenty of weary bodies after catching some big ‘uns!.

Together with Matt we offer full day charters both inshore & reef fishing with guarenteed action.At the minute there are plenty of large King George Whiting around, Snapper, Blue Morwong, Nannagai to get us strated but we get to the warmer months of summer its “hang on” as the fighting machines come in to play.

The Blue Rockets or better known as Southern Bluefin Tuna, Kingfish, Samson Fish & sharks are all fantastic examples of what you can hook onto. All are very big, very powerful & most of all, very rewarding to haul on board & yes folks, the best catch does get a prize for the day !

Matts boat is a very safe & comfortable 3100 Noosa Cat with twin 225 Honda 4 strokes to make sure we get out there & back with everything provided for  a great days fishing. There are more magnificant scenic views again as we head out to the West Coast’s hot spots & guided by sealions & dolphins.

The fun doesnt stop on the water at the end of the days play though. Your fish are cleaned up for you as we have a couple of cleansing refreshments & the winner will be declared at the famous Streaky Bay Hotel, home of one of the worlds best jockeys in Kerrin McEvoy.
